Exploitation of Soybean Oil Acid Degumming Waste: Biocatalytic Synthesis of High Value Phospholipids

چکیده
Abstract The acid degumming waste of the seeds oil refining industry is currently disposed of, but, instead, it could be exploited as an important source for preparation many products. In this work, coming from soybean step was first recovered and treated, allowing isolation a fraction enriched phospholipids (PLs). Then, latter transformed, via enzymatic reaction catalysed by phospholipase D (from S treptomyces netropsis ), into more valuable products: polar head modified PLs‐enriched mixtures containing phosphatidylserine (PS), phosphatidylglycerol (PG), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) phosphatidylhydroxybutyrate (PB). following we show how biocatalysis can production value‐added PLs, to used functional food nutraceutical ingredients, renewable feedstock. This alternative industrial usual disposal procedures should impart whole process greater value in terms carbon recycling, agreement with paradigms bioeconomy wiser reuse resources circular economy perspective.

Stability of soybean oil degumming using immobilized phospholipase A(2).
The aim of this study was evaluation of stability of immobilized phospholipase A2 (PLA2) for soybean oil degumming. Also, the effect of reaction time on residual phosphorus levels was investigated according to the optimum pH and temperature. The free PLA2 and three immobilized PLA2 demonstrated significant differences in optimum operation conditions. pH, temperature and reaction time increased ...

In the present study, we investigated the ability of an immobilized phospholipase A1 (PLA1) in degumming of soybean oil. The enzyme was immobilized by simple adsorption on bentonite without any further modification. The free and immobilized PLA1 were characterized by Fourier Transform InfraRed (FT-IR) spectroscopy and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). The immobilizat...

The effects of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) on the synthesis of phospholipids were studied in combination with feeding of various dietary oils (soybean oil (SO), perilla oil (PO) or fish oil (FO)). Hepatic contents of phosphatidylcholine (PtdCho), phosphatidylethanolamine (PtdEtn) and phosphatidylinositol (PtdIns) did not differ between the three dietary groups except for a high level of PtdEt...
متن کاملMicrobial conversion of sterol-containing soybean oil production waste
Soybean extract residue (scum), a waste of soybean oil production, was examined as a raw material for C17-ketosteroid production. As a model process, its bioconversion to 9α-hydroxyandrost4-ene-3,17-dione (9-OH-AD) by Mycobacterium sp VKM Ac-1817D was studied. The content of transformable sterols (sitosterol, stigmasterol and campesterol) in scum was estimated at ∼14%. The bioconversion of scum...
